Have you ever met any celebrities? Any interesting stories?
Submitted by Tasha.
When I was about six years' old I met the comedian Julian Clary. We waited outside his performance so my sister could get her poster signed but he went straight to the car. When my mother said it was for me 'his youngest fan', he signed it after all.
I've also met David Something-or-Other from Simple Plan, 3/4 of Straylight Run, the singer of Juliana Theory and The Living End. But I haven't really got any interesting stories about them.
You're trapped in a (temporarily) out of order elevator - who would you like to be trapped with?

Hm. Noel Fielding of 'The Mighty Boosh' fame.
Okay, we hate to ask, but... over the roll or under the roll?
Over...I think. It looks nicer, to me.
What were your top 5 TV shows of 2006?
1. Supernatural
2. Desperate Housewives
3. At the Movies With Margaret and David
And I cannot think of a number 5 TV show for this year. TV has been rather boring this year. I've mainly been watching old TV shows on DVD.
What are your top 5 movies/DVDs of 2006?
I'm quite ashamed of myself, as I didn't see many new release films this year at all. (Despite seeing over 60 that I'd never seen before but mainly on DVD). Anyway, I still managed to see more than 5 so I can, at least, write a top 5.
1. The Prestige - I found everything about this movie to be intriguing and magnificent. It did start out a little slow and confusing but I was soon drawn into the intracasies of the world created.
2. Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest - There was no way I couldn't like this movie! Pirates, witty banter, ridiculous fight scenes and Johnny Depp! What more could you ask for in a film?
3. Brokeback Mountain - Possibly not as fantastic as all the hype makes it out to be but I still loved this movie. I don't really have anything else to add to that.
4. V for Vendetta - Another one that started out a little tedious but it was worth the wait. It was quite dark but ended on a somehwat hopeful note. It was bizarre to see Hugo Weaving in the role of 'V' as you can't really see him at all. I'm not a fan of Natalie Portman but I still think she worked well in her role. Hm. I never did get around to reading the graphic novel, like I said I would, though.
5. Kinky Boots - A lighthearted film that left me feeling warm and fuzzy. Anyone - man or woman - who can competently walk in stiletto heels immediately has my respect!
What is your pet peeve, the one thing which really drives you mad?
Submitted by Beki.
People who cannot seem to accept that everyone is different (even if only subtly so) and try to pigeon-hole others or fit them into the mould they have created. People are beautiful because everyone has different qualities, likes, dislikes, etc. It bugs me so much when people try to change other people. The only person who should be trying to do that is the individual, themselves.
I guess one reason it gets to me so much is because I know the Job network agency I'm part of keep telling me I'll grow out of not being a 'people person'. I can get along with people just fine if I want to, but I don't particularly like dealing with them on a day-to-day basis. Customer service jobs are not my thing, despite what they keep saying. Different people suit different jobs. I just wish they could understand me. Sigh.
Do you keep a journal or diary? How often do you write in it?
Submitted by Kim.
Yes, I do. I've been keeping one since I was about the age of 12. I now have, oh, 17 separate volumes (at least!). Sometimes I will write in it every day but at other times I may not write an entry for over a month. It seems the less I do, the more I write and vice versa.
I suppose it comes down to how much spare time I have to write in it, really!
What's your favorite music for a Sunday morning?
Submitted by Nick.
Oh, this is quite a good question! Of course, I shall have to pretend that I am awake on Sunday mornings in order to answer it.
I would definitely have to start my with something gentle, but lively, to coax me out of my half-asleep state, so most likely, I would be listening to The Smiths. I think they're perfect Sunday morning music.
